- Compensation: ₹1,000 per class (if holding a Ph.D.), with a maximum limit of ₹60,000 per month. ₹750 per class (without a Ph.D.), with a cap of ₹45,000 per month.
Professor
- Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline and a minimum of 10 years of teaching or research experience. Additionally, candidates should have at least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, with a research score of at least 120 as per UGC norms.
- Age Limit: Candidates should be below 70 years of age.
- Compensation: ₹50,000 per month for a minimum of 35 classes.
Associate Professor
- Qualifications: A Ph.D. in the relevant discipline and a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks are required. Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in teaching or research, with at least 7 research publications and a research score of 75 according to UGC norms.
- Age Limit: Candidates should be below 70 years of age.

Selection Process OSOU Recruitment 2024
The selection of candidates will be based on a two-step process:
- Application Screening: The applications will be screened, and suitable candidates will be shortlisted for the interview.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo an interview by the Selection Committee. The marks for the interview will be distributed as follows:
